It’s amazing where a whim of inspiration can take your mind. As soon as I laid eyes on Lu & Elle’s fabulous Stargazer Clutch I was immediately transported to the Serengeti circa 1940. Visions of vintage safari style and giraffes filled my mind while Bert Kaempfert’s “A Swingin’ Safari” played in the background (also in my head).
Fittingly, this stunning mid-sized clutch with an attachable strap features authentic African mud cloth in a design that reminds me of a giraffe. Each bag is uniquely hand-sewn and made locally in Los Angeles. Lu & Elle is also animal conscious, sporting faux leather and donating a portion of all sales to The Black Jaguar-White Tiger Foundation, which rescues, protects and raises awareness for large wild cats in Mexico.
This brand delivers on all fronts, supporting our beloved feline friends and looking great doing it.
